OC Polo Story

Nestled in the picturesque Silverado Canyon, the Orange County Polo Club (OC Polo) stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the sport. With roots tracing back over 30 years to its humble beginnings near Anaheim Stadium, the club was originally known as the Winston Polo Club. Here, Denny Geiler discovered his passion for polo and eventually became the Club President. Over time, the club established itself across various equestrian facilities throughout Orange County, enhancing its community and reputation.

In 2015, Denny and his family seized the opportunity to create a permanent home for OC Polo. They transformed an aging stable into Rancho Silverado Stables, a world-class equestrian facility that reflects both the heritage and future of polo. Today, the club features two pristine polo arenas, spacious stabling for over 60 horses, and a beautifully appointed clubhouse that serves as the community's heart.

OC Polo is more than just a club – it's a family tradition. Many of our members, staff, and owners are multi-generational polo players who share a passion for the sport. Even those who don't play contribute to the fabric of our club by supporting events, cheering from the sidelines, and celebrating the vibrant culture that defines OC Polo.

At OC Polo, camaraderie extends far beyond the field. Our clubhouse, with its relaxed yet refined ambiance, offers the perfect setting for post-match conversations and shared stories. Whether marveling at the skill of our horses or recounting the day's most memorable plays, the connections forged here are as enduring as the sport itself.

With our state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated community, and unwavering commitment to the sport, the Orange County Polo Club continues to honor the legacy and excitement of polo in authentic California style.
