OC Polo Interscholastic

Developing young athletes through polo, horsemanship, and teamwork, both on and off the field.

What is the Interscholastic Program?

The OC Polo Club has participated in the United States Polo Association’s Interscholastic program (IS) for many years. Our IS program is open to middle and high school students who want to play polo with their peers. Unlike other high school sports, players from different schools can play together under the OC Polo Club umbrella.

Skills & Player Development

The program focuses on creating dedicated polo players passionate about the game and horse care. Students learn the responsibilities of working with horses and develop their horsemanship and playing skills while learning how to be effective team players.

Opportunities & Experiences

OC Polo’s IS players are exposed to various playing experiences, travel with their team, and can earn a varsity letter. Many of our players have gone on to earn scholarships and play polo in Intercollegiate programs. This is an incredible opportunity for your horse-loving student to experience the excitement of polo, learn valuable life skills, and forge lifelong friendships.
